Devilman, But With Head-Swaps!

Devilman has gone mainstream recently, which honestly surprises me. Devilman is a dark, violent, gruesome, sadistic, and nihilistic story. So, that's perfect to turn into a silly chibi spinoff! This screenshot is from "CB Chara Nagai Go World", which is a giant crossover between several of Go Nagai's works. It's a three-part OVA that deconstructs and makes fun of typical chibi adaptations of anime. It's probably the best of its type, because they AT LEAST acknowledge that they aren't supposed to be chibi.

Anywho, this particular screenshot requires a bit of context. Early on in the fist OVA, Jinmen (a giant turtle who devours people whole, body and soul) attacks Akira and friends. He is easily decapitated by Miki, Devilman/Akira's girlfriend. After his pitiful defeat, Jinmen remains with the group as a bodiless head. Come the second OVA, the group is attacked by Lamia Q and Count Brocken from Mazinger Z. Now, Broken's main gimmick is that he can detach his head from his body and have it float around.

I think you can see where I'm going with this. While attacking the group, Jinmen seizes the opportunity to steal Brocken's headless bod, which he sadly only gets t to wear for a few minutes. Still, it was pretty awesome! Also, for those wondering, no Brocken is not a Nazi. He just has a similar looking military outfit. The weirdest thing about Jinmen in this OVA is the character himself. He's probably one of the most messed up villains in the franchise, and is normally a complete monster with no redeeming qualities. In this three part OVA, he's basically the best character, as well as the funniest.
