It was Christmas Eve, and I was look forward to meeting with my friend James. It had been a long year, making TF artwork on DeviantArt and having fun just chilling with friends. And tonight, I was chilling with James. James said he has a very special and unique gift for me, and I had an awesome gift for him as well! James arrived at my house at around seven and came with a medium sized box, which ironically was the same size as the gift that I was presenting him. Did he get me the same gift I got him? We had fun drinking eggnog and eating gingerbread-men.

Afterwards, it was time for a gift exchange! I bought James something special, I knew he loved Marvel so I bought him something very unique indeed. It would be nothing like he ever experienced before. I gave him his gift first and he quickly tore it open. To my surprise, I found a Rocket Raccoon mask inside! Oh man, I love this character! The detail on the mask was astounding, it looked just like the character from the film. It was expertly crafted, it was glorious! "Thanks, James!" I shouted as he smiled. "Hey, no prob! I know you love that movie, so I knew you'd appreciate the gift. Trust me though, it's more than just a mask!"

I smiled and handed him his gift. "I'm sure you'll love yours just as much as I love mine, bud!" He smiled and tore open his gift. He then removed the contents of the box and giggled with glee. He held up the Spider-Ham mask I bought for him. Spider-Ham was a parody of Spider-Man who was a pig character created for an 80s gag comic. He proudly held the mask in his hands and I had a feeling that he'd enjoy the mask even more when he puts it on! "Hey, James. I have an idea, let's put our masks on at the same time!"

James nodded in agreement and moved the mask towards his head. Likewise, I slowly put the mask on over my face. We placed our masks on at the same time. As quickly as I put it on, I felt the mask start to fuse to my face. The material fused to my skin as my head altered. My face pushed into a muzzle as my nose shrank. The skin along my nose became leathery and the color turned from it's natural pinkish hue to black. Bits of hair sprouted from the skin across my face as my jaw made crunching noises. Weird markings appeared on my face, indicative of the animal that I was becoming. Tiny bits of brown and black hair pushed out from my skin as a wave of fur spread across my body. My ears grew much longer in the process. They become somewhat pointed and twitched around at random. I found that my new ears could pick up very sensitive sounds that I normally couldn't hear.

Fur popped up everywhere, covering my in a rather thick coat of fur! I was hairier than my uncle at this point! The fur caused rips in my shirt and pants as it grew longer and much thicker. As my fur grew, my body shrank. The walls started to grow larger as the floor grew closer. My height shrank more and more as my clothes became baggier. I went from 5 feet to barely 2 in the process! The entire living room now seemed as big as a castle to me, it was truly massive.

As I shrank, my feet grew. My once-human feet grew larger and larger as my toe-nails sharpened into claws. Rough pads formed in the soles of my feet as the shape of my feet grew longer. My hands followed suit as rough pads formed on my palms, complete with a second set of claws! It appears my transformation was nearing its end. My ears twitched once more as I felt a strange pulling sensation on my tailbone. My skeletal structure felt like it was elongating, like I was growing some sort of tail.

To my surprise, I found that I was growing a tail! Not just any tail, but a big fluffy raccoon tail! This tail grew fairly long and thrashed about uncontrollably. Just as I thought my transformation was over, the baggy ripped clothing that adorned my body started to change as well. The fabric shifted about and formed into what appeared to be a uniform. The uniform was red and blue and had golden buttons along it. It looked almost like the uniform of some sort of soldier or admiral, it was one of the fanciest things I've worn in a long time!

I stood up and wiggled my raccoon tail about, this was one of the best games I've ever received! I took a few steps and got used to my new height. I looked about for James, but I found that he was no longer sitting in front of me and had run off somewhere! I looked around my house for him, but soon heard strange whipping sounds coming from the basement. I was almost afraid to find out what was going on down there, but I knew I just had to check it out!

I opened the door to the basement and slowly made my way down the stairs. I should've have been afraid, but this new form gave me a certain flair of confidence. My raccoon paws scuffed the wood of the stairwell as I crept down into the basement. With my heightened sense of smell, I caught the unmistakable aroma of pig! Even though it was dark in the basement, I found myself able to see perfectly in the dark. It's just a natural raccoon ability I suppose!

As I looked around in the dark basement I took notice of various spider-webs, that seemed very unnatural. Almost like they belonged to a creature that wasn't even a spider! I suddenly heard snorting as something lowered itself in front of me. He dangled in front of my upside down with his hands gripped firmly to his strand of web. To my surprise, it was an anthropomorphic pig in a Spider-Man costume! "Hey there, Nash! Looking good as a raccoon!" Oh, it was just James. "Yeah, you look pretty good too as a super-powered pig! How are those spider powers working for ya?"

The pig snorted and leaped down from his strand of web. "I love it! Heck, I even made a giant spider's web!" James motioned to a large web sitting in the middle of the basement. "Like it? It took me a whole three minutes to make it!" I nodded as I looked at it. "Yeah, it's very impressive considering you've only had these powers for about two and a half minutes." The pig proudly leaned against his web as he smiled in a cocky manner. "Of course, I am the biggest Spider-Man and Spider-Ham nerd around!"

Leave it to James to be a braggart! I decided to teach him a lesson and shoved him into his own web. The pig thrashed about as he attempted to escape his net. The pig got stuck in his net and thrashed about helplessly. "Dude, a little help here!" I shrugged my shoulders in response. "I thought you were a big Spider-Ham nerd! Surely you can figure your way out of there!" The pig shook his head vigorously. "Sorry, I didn't mean to brag. It's just that power has a tendency to corrupt, ya know!"

I smiled and nodded as I used my claws to cut him loose from the net. "Well, just try not to get too corrupted! So... What do we do now?" The pig smiled and looked at me. "Oh, how about go see a movie! I heard that "Foxxen 2: The Awkward Family Dinner Event" is playing, we should go see it!" I gave him a thumbs up in response. "Sure! Been so long since I've seen the last one that I've had a rather big craving for it!"

We walked up the stairs and left the house. We left the building as I looked around for James' car. To my surprise, it didn't appear to be parked on the street. "Uh... Dude, where's your car?" James chuckled to himself. "Dude, I told you that I'd be taking the bus to your house today!" I looked at the pig in dismay. "Man, we'll never make the movie now! It's a 7:30 showing and the bus takes an hour to go down a single block!" The pig walked over to me and threw his arm around my shoulder. "I guess some is forgetting that I have spider powers now! I'll just sling us over to the theatre lickety-split!"

I looked at him, thinking that he was joking about this. The dude just got his powers an hour ago! "James, that sounds pretty dangerous. You're powers are new and you are in a form that you are not used too!" He shook his head and armed his web-blaster. "Don't worry, Nash! I turn into Spider-Ham in my lucid dreams all the time! Besides, I've studied Spider-Man's skills over the past fifteen years so I know his methods for how he uses his powers. Besides, I'll swing at a fair enough altitude and speed so it won't be too much of a problem."

I was still a little on the fence, but I've known James long enough to trust him. After all, you only live once! "Alright, James, you convinced me!" I shouted as I hopped on the pig's back. He quickly shot his web onto a nearby building and prepared to leap into the air. "Let's be off, shall we?" The pig quickly launched himself into the air with me in tow. His webbing latched hold of buildings as we made out way through the buildings.

James weaved us in and out of buildings, like a spider weaving a web. The high-altitude made me giddy, I had never been this high up before! After about ten minutes of swinging, we reached our destination. He swung down to the street and we landed once more on even terrain. I was glad to finally be back on the ground, web-swinging was just not my thing! James and I walked up to the ticket booth. The booth towered above both of us, it probably doesn't help that we were both about 2-3 feet tall.

It was odd to be this short, it's like being 11 all over again! "Two for Foxxen 2 please!" The man looked down at us and chuckled to himself. "Two kids in costumes going to a furry comedy movie? Now I've certainly seen everything!" It was odd that the man would think we're just kids, after all we both possessed very convincing adult monotones. Well, Sirge did, I still had the voice of a fifteen-year-old. After we were given our tickets, we made our way into the theatre.

The place wasn't super crowded, due to it being Christmas and all. James and I walked past various movie posters as we made our way to the end of the hall. We gave the doorman our tickets and entered the dark theatre. The room was steeped in shadows, luckily I could see everything with my heightened vision. Sirge and I walked to the middle row and sat down. The pig then proceeded to kick his costumed hooves up and rested them on the seat in front of him. "Dude, don't do that! The usher will kick you out if he sees that!"

Sirge smiled and lowered his hooves. "Sorry, I've got a bad habit of keeping my feet elevated, I think it's an OCD thing! It's weird how no matter how many times I transform or what I transform into, I still possess the same bad habits and impulses." I gave the pig a playful little punch on the shoulder. "I wouldn't have it any other way, man! Merry Christmas!" The pig chuckled in response. "Merry Christmas to you as well, Rocket Raccoon." We chatted for a while longer until the trailers started up. Various trailers were shown for upcoming attractions, most of which didn't look too enthralling. Afterwards, the movie started up. I sat there and enjoyed the movie with my good friend. It was a very enjoyable and entertaining movie, and I had a great time watching it. This had been one of the best Christmases ever and I'm glad that I had spent it with such a good friend!
A Christmas gift for my good friend :iconthenashnetwork:. I knew that he was a biiiiig fan of Rocket Raccoon so I decided to do him a solid and make a story of him turning into the bazooka-wielding raccoon. I'm glad I was able to get this done before heading to Grandma's house out of town. Merry Christmas, pal. I hope you enjoy it. :)
