Grodd-ified (Gorilla Grodd Body Swap TF)

I tumbled through the multiverse once more as my alternate universe machine sent me to another dimension. I travelled through the interconnecting web of dimensions until I happened across a large portal to a universe. I promptly entered inside and found myself in a place that was strangely familiar. The large cityscape certainly looked familiar to me, the large buildings and skyline evoked a strange sense of nostalgia. I walked over to a nearby newspaper stand and grabbed a newspaper and found that the paper belonged to the Daily Planet! I was in the DC Comics universe, I could hardly believe it. I was more of a Marvel guy, but I did enjoy a good DC comic here or there. I walked around the cityscape and spotted several superheroes flying overhead, it was incredible. One thing I was interested in was seeing Gorilla Grodd imprisoned. If I recall, on the Justice League show Grodd's mind reduced in intelligence to the level of a regular gorilla's. He was placed in a zoo cage, until his intelligence returned. I kind of wanted for see the gorilla overlord in captivity, so I walked over to the nearest zoo.

I wasn't sure if this was the correct zoo or even if Grodd was currently in a zoo at all. Still, I was morbidly curious and had to take  a look. I entered the zoo and made my way over to the gorilla exhibit and started looking around for the big dumb ape. I spotted it and walked towards it, making my way to the cage. Once I reached the cage I looked around and was surprised to find all the gorillas sharing some facial similarity to Grodd! I couldn't tell any of them apart and I'm usually the master of distinguishing simians and apes from each other. I guess all gorillas bared some sort of passing similarity to each other, but you could usually tell Grodd from the rest of the pack. I felt defeated and was about to leave when I felt the dirt below my shoes starting to shift. I looked down and found that there was some kind of trap door opening beneath me! The trapdoor opened quickly as I fell down the hole and into the blackness. I lost consciousness as I tumbled into what I thought to be my doom. I woke up later and found myself lying on an operating table, wearing what appeared to be a hospital gown.

"Huh? What's going on?" I asked out loud as I looked around. I noticed the door and was about to make a dash for it, when the door suddenly swung open. To my surprise, the burly gorilla himself walked out! It was Grodd, the super-intelligent gorilla who could walk on two legs. "What a fine specimen we have here and from an alternate universe no less! No super-human abilities and no supposed allies in this dimension, this works very much to my favor." Said the gorilla as he inspected me, almost as if he was studying me. "W-What's going on?! What am I doing here?!" Grodd smiled as he took out a strange armband with one metallic arm-sized ring on each side. The armband was silver and had strange mechanical parts on it. "What's going on? Well, you becoming me is what's going on!" My eyes widened as I stared up at the gorilla as he slid one of the rings of the armband around his hairy arm. "Wait, becoming me? Do you mean you're going to steal my body?!" The gorilla grinned as petted me on the head.  "Of course, why else do you think I removed your clothes? I did it so they wouldn't get ruined in the transformation!" I glared at the gorilla and raised my fist at the ape. "Y-You undressed me?! You perverted ape!" The gorilla laughed and quickly slid the other side of the ring over my outstretched arm before I could even react. The arm-ring fastened tightly around my arm, almost like a pair of hand-cuffs. These strange rings connected Grodd's arm to mine, effectively chaining me up with the ape! "I'm not a pervert, after all it will be my body in a while anyways." The gorilla then lifted his arm hoisting me up into the air by my arm. "Why are you doing all this? I thought body-swapping was more Ultra-Humanite's thing!"

The large gorilla petted my head with his large ape paw. "It gets tiring being a gorilla villain and defeated all the time. Humans are interesting because they can blend into a crowd, unlike my rather large ape form. My machines detected an alternate reality machine entering this universe and here you come just conveniently strolling into the zoo that just happens to house my lab deep underground. With your body, I'll be able to escape this universe unheeded in your alternate universe machine. All the while, you will be stuck in prison as a big pudgy gorilla!" Gorilla Grodd smiled as he raised his big bulky hand towards his other arm. He reached towards the button that was situated on the ring. "With a quick press of this button, this armband machine will read our genetic codes. It will then proceed to copy our genetic codes onto each other, turning us into each other permanently. On top of that, it will alter our brain structures so they are more akin to their new forms. Wouldn't want Superman using his X-Ray vision and ruining the fun. Now, let's get this started!" I desperately tried to reach towards the gorilla's paw to stop him, but was batted away by his large ape arm. He then pressed the button as the armband glowed.

The rings glowed as they scanned our DNA, preparing to make us switch bodies in the process. After scanning our DNA, the rings went to work. Grodd smiled as he lowered his arm and put me back on the ground. "Not too long now, buddy!" Said Grodd as he patted his large belly. As he rubbed his burly belly, I noticed it starting to shrink and recede. As this happened, I found my own belly starting to bulk up. My gut grew larger and larger as my stomach became extremely burly. My growing belly started to rip through my hospital gown. My massive pushed against my hospital gown until it completely ripped off of my body leaving me completely naked! My big burly belly stopped growing, leaving me with a rather large gut. "Looking good already!" Shouted the gorilla as he rubbed my belly. The gorilla then reached his un-handcuffed arm around to his backside and scratched his big hairy rear with his gorilla paw. He then proceeded to sniff his hand as I gagged. "It's a bad habit, I know! I retained some ape instincts the last time my mind altered, but now they will be your problem!"

The transformation then continued as my arms and legs started to ache. They started to grow much larger as my limbs bulked up with muscle. My arms became immensely muscular, to the degree of a common gorilla. My hands swelled as they grew much larger, my fingers becoming bulkier in the process. My hands soon became large gorilla paws. My legs became very muscular as well, in order to hold up my increased weight. My feet grew larger as well as the bones lining them shifted and crunched. My toes grew larger as they morphed into large hand-shaped feet. I looked over at Grodd, who now possessed a pair of skinny arms and legs! His torso was still rather large and muscular, yet his skinny arms and legs made him look rather bizarre. It was at this point that I tried to pry the cuffs off using my muscular arms, yet I find it impossible as it was bound too tightly to my wrist. I soon found that the more I tugged on it, the faster the transformation progressed! My butt then started to bulk up as it became larger and more muscular. My rear was so big it would make Nicki Minaj jealous! I torso expanded as well as my pectorals grew massive. My man-boobs were soon the size of water-melons! I started to grow taller as well, growing over a foot and a half in height in the process. My whole body grew larger and bulkier, making it difficult to walk around in at first. I teetered back and forth, not being used to my new weight at first.

My body was almost too bulky, my body was more pumped than a body-builder's! Grodd chuckled and patted me on the back. "We're getting there!" I noticed Grodd now had a much skinnier torso and now possessed a more slender appearance. The transformation continued as my skin started to change. It became a darker shade of blue as the texture altered completely. My skin became somewhat drier and much wrinklier as it became rougher in texture. Just then, black hairs emerged from all over my body. They were tiny at first, but soon grew longer and much thicker. These tiny hairs soon grew into a thick coat of fur that covered my arms, legs, most of torso, and the top of my head. The scraggly fur was unkempt and vey uncomfortable, it felt very itchy to say the least! The fur overtook my hair, turning it into a black mess of fur. I was surprised to find that I was now mostly Grodd! I looked over at Grodd who now had almost my entire human body, with the exception of my head structure and face.

Just then, my face started to tingle and shift. My face became much more wrinkly as the entire shape of my head change. My grew somewhat larger as my mouth stretched out. My mouth enlarged as my once-human teeth grew longer and morphed into gorilla fangs. My nose flattened itself, becoming very stumpy in the process. To compensate, my nostrils grew much larger allowing me a greater sense of smell. Finally, my mind started to alter. I could feel my intelligence increasing greatly, I found myself discovering all kinds of things I never knew about! My mind was now enhanced, my intelligence was now three times as effective as it used to be! On top of that, gorilla instincts started to flood my mind as well. I uncontrollably scratched my muscular butt as Grodd laughed. I looked at the former ape to now find that he was a naked replica of my former body!

"Perfect! Now, I can release this stupid arm-band." Grodd pressed a button on the armband, releasing the both of us. The mechanical DNA switching band fell to the ground and fizzled as the technology inside it died. I waddled about in my muscular new body trying to get a feel for it. I felt so large and bulky and I wasn't used to the weight. Grodd smiled as he walked to the back of lab and grabbed my clothing from a nearby table. It was this point I started to panic and scratched myself. "I can't believe you did this! Why me?! And why did we turn into each other instead of switching minds?!" Grodd chuckled as he slid on his stolen pants. "Because if we switched minds, then Superman could see it with his X-Ray vision. I needed our entire body and mind chemistries altered genetically! And why you in particular? Because most alternate dimension machines are all DNA-locked nowadays. I think that would be obvious, you smelly ape!"

I grunted like the ape I was and started bellowing at Grodd. "How dare you do this to me?! I don't want to be a supervillain, let alone a big burly gorilla! And... Wait, did you say I was smelly?!" I became curious and lifted my arm up, exposing my armpit. Using my new ape nostrils, I gave it a big whiff. "Oh man, I really do smell! That makes no sense! How could I have fleas and a terrible smell like this if it's supposed to be a genetic transformation. Fleas and smell aren't genetic, nor is intelligence!" Grodd shrugged he pulled on his shirt. "Well, I uh... Really have no explanation for that. Comic book logic I suppose. Anyway, I better get your ready?" I scratched at my furry head in confusion. "Get me ready for what?" Suddenly, Grodd took his stolen fingers and placed them against his temples. Suddenly, I couldn't move! "My predictions were right, I still possess my psychic powers! As for what I'm preparing you for, I'm making sure you are all ready for your stint in prison." Shouted Grodd as he spoke to me through his mind.

"After all, my body is wanted to a lot of crimes. The Justice League don't know about this underground lab, due to the lead-shielding and sound-proofing that prevents detections from Superman's abilities. But now, I have no need for that..." Grodd pressed a large red button on a nearby console and I heard various sounds of gears and motors moving. "This is why I'm talking through you using my psychic powers. I don't want Supes to detect what I'm telling you and try to reverse our little swap. Not that he could, considering it's permanent genetic re-modification! Now... Since I have control of your old body as well as your new one, I command you to pick me by the arms and growl at me in a threatening manner." Gripping Grodd tightly in my hairy arms, I roared in a threatening manner at him. "No! No! Please help!" Shouted Grodd using his actual speaking voice. Grodd was setting me up, I was going to be caught and imprisoned in his place!

Before I could do anything else, a red streak of light entered the room and smacked into me causing me to drop the body-thief. The red-streak stopped in its tracks, revealing itself to be the red-suited superhero known as The Flash. "Well, what have we here? Looks like this big bloated gorilla is attacking people he drags into his lab!" My body then started to move on its own against my own will. My hefty gorilla paws formed into fists as I threatened The Flash. "I'll do whatever I please!" I was sweating underneath my fur as my own lips betrayed me and threatened The Flash. Before I could do anything, The Flash ran off and then instantly made his way back to me. He circled around me like a red tornado as he fit me with different things in a split-second. In a few seconds, the dust had cleared and I was now in prison garb! I had an orange prison-shirt, yet lacked the pants. Two large steel manacles had been fitted onto my arms, binding them together. Lastly, a large muzzle had been fitted on my face preventing me from biting or speaking! "Perfect, your prison-wear from your last stay fits perfectly! And don't worry about needing to take a new mugshot, considering we already took one a few weeks ago before you escape prison. "Mmmf mfff!" I tried to speak, but the muzzle muffled everything I said. "Come on, let's get you back to Stryker's Island!" The Flash then grabbed the back of my neck and placed his other arm around my torso. "I'll need to hold the back of your neck like this to prevent whiplash. Before I go..." The Flash quickly turned to Grodd who was wearing my stolen form. "Sure you can find your way out of here?" Grodd nodded and smiled. "Oh, I certainly can! Thank you, Flash!"

Flash smiled and winked as he rocketed off with me in tow. I caught one last glimpse of my body before I was sped off to Stryker's Island. Flash moved at lightning speed while gripping me tightly. Within moments, we were at the front door to the prison. The Flash gave me to the guards and then ran-off as I was brought inside. My manacles and muzzle were removed, and I was given a thick pair of handcuffs and a ball and chain to make up for it. The ball and chain was attached to my muscular left leg as the large pair of handcuffs were fitted around my big hairy arms. I was then escorted to the main part of the prison, where all the supervillains were kept. Almost all of them didn't tend to mess with me. But let's face it, what kind of idiot would attack a super-genius gorilla who could crush their heads in a second? I would have villains complain about my smell from time to time, but a simple growl would make them fall back in line.

I never did try to convince guards that I was someone else in Grodd's body. I doubt anyone would believe me, except maybe the Justice League themselves. But even then, my body was long-gone and Grodd took extra precautions to make sure my body and mind were transmuted into exact copies of the original. I was more Grodd than James now and I had the feeling it would be impossible to convince the Justice League otherwise. Within the confines of the prison, I had befriended several villains. The one I had bonded with most though was Ultra-Humanite as he was also a human trapped in the body of an ape. Ultra-Humanite is the only one I trust with my secret and he believes it whole-heartedly. I wasn't involved in any tussles while in prison, in fact I spent most of my time just chilling and talking with Ultra-Humanite. I knew that I probably wouldn't my body back anytime, or probably not at all! I figured the only way I'd get switched back was if DC rebooted the universe again. But it would be months upon months before we get another reboot! And a single issue of a comic can translate anywhere from a week to a month or in some cases a year! I just hoped that my comic-book imprisonment at least made for an interesting mini-series story-arc!
